John and Cynthia met in 2020 while learning to dance salsa. In February of 2020, they both signed up to perform a choreography and John offered his help rehearsing outside the studio. As they began to spend time together, on March of 2020 the world came to a complete stop. Despite obstacles and restrictions, John and Cynthia filled their days with hours of FaceTime calls, walks in the park, and virtual dates. Throughout their five years together, they continued to travel, dance, and grow in love.
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon on October 12, 2024, John proposed at their favorite place, Longwood Gardens. And the rest, as they say, is history.
